Woods has signed a long-term partnership with the company behind the PGA Tour 2K video game series, returning the 15-time major champion to an industry he once dominated with EA Sports.
It's possible Woods may never return to the PGA Tour, where his 82 victories are tied with Sam Snead for most all time, but his name and likeness will be used exclusively in the PGA Tour 2K franchise. Woods was not among the players included in last year's 2K game, and it's unclear if he'll be added or if his name or image will be used on the cover. A news release from 2K said only that Woods would be an executive director and consultant.

When the children's digital game Roblox launched on the New York Stock Exchange last week, the company's share price rapidly took off. By the end of the day, it was valued at US$38 billion .
Roblox has been around since 2004, but it's often overshadowed by the more popular and easily understandable game Minecraft. Bought by Microsoft in 2014 for a comparatively paltry US$2.5 billion, Minecraft players create and explore pixelated worlds and share them with friends. In Roblox, players can create and share entire games — or play any of the millions of games created by others in the community.
Pixicade Lets Kids Draw Their Own Video Games and Play Them on Mobile | SuperParent
Tech company BitOGenius has released a new video game design system called Pixicade, which allows kids to draw elements on paper in the real world, and then turn those drawings into video games in a mobile app on iOS, Android, and Kindle devices.
Pixicade has two recommended age levels. Kids 6+ may be able to create games with some help, while kids 10+ may be able to complete the activities on their own.
Once the app is ready (or while it's being set up), kids can begin making their way through the three workbooks. Each has around 40 pages, and includes both example games and spaces for kids to draw.
