Thousands of battle-hardened US troops being hastily pulled out of Afghanistan are reportedly "crying like little girls" on learning of their immediate redeployment to the fib-strewn paramidiotry warzone of Capitol Hill, in readiness for the most underwhelming inauguration since Chuka Umunna, on a deadline from Kwik-e-Print, said "Um, Change UK?"
"It's like looking into hell," whimpered Colonel Will Slaybleed, staring whey-faced at CNN footage of overweight truckers wheezing up the steps like priapic toads roused to lumbering frenzy by a glimpse of Trump side-boob. "Give me an ambush of IED-toting insurgents any day- I mean, these guys have flags! Is it too late to claim an allergy to oversized eagle belt-buckles? What if my Mom writes a note?"

Around Town: Rhetoric will be our ruination
The COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns are partly to blame. Normal everyday people would be at work, not sitting in front of their boob tube, phone or computer screens absorbing slanted reporting, wild-eyed conspiracy theories and outright fabricated "facts" on social media. Not one "recognized" leader is attempting to tamp down the angry rhetoric. Many are doubling down on revenge-seeking words and actions.
A historically successful manipulator of public opinion, Adolf Hitler, wrote, "The broad masses of people are more amenable to the appeal of rhetoric than any other force." In the past few weeks, we have seen public calls to hang our vice president, a former California governor liken the Capitol riot to the night the Nazis attacked Germany's Jewish citizens, Daily Press letters referring to Republican-leaning letter writers as "Hitler followers" and on it goes.

23 Best Comfy Bras, According to Women of All Bust Sizes | SELF
Pre-pandemic, structured bras were something of an unspoken requirement for women, especially on the job. But now, with the rise in remote work , there's less of a reason to pull out the stiff, underwire bras that dig into your skin. Really, who has time for discomfort when the 2020 struggle is so real? If you haven't ditched your bras entirely, there's no better time to build your WFH bra collection, filling it with the softest styles.
I'm obsessed with this bra from Pepper. Targeted for those who are B cups and smaller, it's the only bra I want to wear in the stay-at-home era. I prefer wireless in general, so was a little worried that this may feel tight on me, but it fits so well, and it actually provides a little lift. I'm normally a 36A, and I wear a medium in this bra. —Christina Shorter, community strategist
