My New Year’s gift to guys (and girls) | News | dothaneagle.com

I stumbled on a story in "The Week" website archives titled "6 things that can make you irresistible," by Eric Barker and thought some of you would like to test the theories.

The first thing they say is humor is sexy, which made me laugh. But they also say humor is very different between the sexes. Duh. What they actually are saying is "women tend to prefer men who make them laugh, whereas more men prefer women who laugh at their jokes." I took this as a good sign because KM laughs at my jokes. Well, sometimes.

The Best News of 2020: Megan Thee Stallion's 'Good News' is an Unsurprisingly Exceptional Debut

Most artists can't say that they secured a feature from Beyoncé or Nicki Minaj before their debut album. Most artists can't point to six platinum and five gold records before their debut album. Most artists can't claim two Billboard number one singles before their debut album. Megan Thee Stallion is not "most artists.

Another incredible element of "Good News" is its wide variety of features. SZA, City Girls, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, DaBaby, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Popcaan, Mustard, and, the queen herself, Beyoncé all make appearances. Typically, this many features would be distracting. Megan Thee Stallion, however, has proven time and time again she is not like other artists. On each song that features equally or more popular musicians, Megan holds her own.

'My husband's ashes are still unscattered, but we're doing OK' - BBC News

Byron Bay, on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia, is a magical place - it's hard to describe without sounding like a holiday brochure, but the crystal-clear water, the stretches of white sand, the lush rainforest - well, that's just the way it is.

And so we go without them. It's just a holiday, a way to unwind - walking barefoot on the sand, floating in the sea. A little bit of rest and relaxation in this place we love.

We spend most days on Main Beach, where there are crowds of surfers and it's an easy walk to fish and chip shops and ice creameries. But on our last day I tell the girls I'd like to go to Wategos Beach. Poppy and Bear, now aged nine and 11, are unenthusiastic about Wategos, but it's the beach I love best - it's where their dad took me on our first ever holiday together.

Cobra Kai Recap, Season 3 Episode 7: 'Obstáculos'

The brilliance of Cobra Kai is just like that training exercise in season two, where Sam and Robbie have to balance on that weird raft thing in order to fight alongside each other. It's a delicate balance, but rather than a balance between a spoiled girl and her boyf with a bad haircut, it's a balance between sincerity and irony. We wouldn't love this show if it was just inspirational speeches or if it was just meta jokes about itself.

That story took up most of the episode, and if I weren't contractually obligated to watch every second of every episode — that's journalism, folks — then I would have fast-forwarded through all of those scenes looking for fights. But I watched them and learned a valuable lesson. As Daniel tells Sam, you are never alone. Yeah, tell that to her best friend Aisha, whose salary the producers couldn't afford this season.
