While you're here, how about this:
Amabile, Pacers stay hot in win over Vikings - Delaware Gazette
Alexis Amabile stayed hot Wednesday, following up a 21-point effort from the day before with a 27-point performance to lead the Delaware Hayes girls basketball team to a 63-52 non-league win over visiting River Valley.
The Pacers (5-2) set the tone early, outscoring the Vikings 17-12 in the first quarter and 18-12 in the second to take a 35-24 lead into halftime.
River Valley sliced its deficit to single digits with a 14-10 third, but Hayes held it off with a steady showing from the free throw line in the fourth. The Pacers, led by Amabile’s 11-for-14 effort from the charity stripe, made 19 of their 25 tosses for the game, including 10 in the fourth quarter alone.
Sonoraville boys' basketball continues historically hot start | The Calhoun Times |
The Sonoraville boys' basketball team remained undefeated on Monday night with a 56-42 region win over Rockmart (3-8, 1-5) at home. With the victory, the soaring Phoenix team moves to 10-0 on the season including winning all four games in Region 6-AAA so far.

It was great to move to 4-0 in the region and set the school record for best start to a season at 10-0."
Orry Darnell led the Phoenix with 14 points, Ian King added 13 and Garrison Mullins accounted for 10 more in the victory. Javin Whatley finished with 19 to lead the Yellow Jackets of Rockmart.
Cardi’s sexy ‘fail’ had fans mistake her butt for baby bump
Seriously? And you call yourselves fans? Ya’ll should know better. For somewhat viable reasons (we guess) the internet lost its mind for a minute after Cardi B posted a yet another thirst trap on Wednesday, January 6.
Those not so attentive started flooding the rapper’s comments section. "Thought you were announcing another pregnancy... man goodnight," one person wrote. "Girl I’m thinking that’s a baby belly 😭," someone else wrote. "Why I thought this was a pregnancy announcement? 😩" a third person chimed in.
Many things are taking place:
Ayla Abban scored twice to power Duxbury over Hingham in girls hockey
HINGHAM -- No rooters from either side were allowed into Pilgrim Arena on Wednesday afternoon. That's the bad news. The good news is that several of the brightest stars on the ice will be sticking around for a while, so local girls high school hockey fans could check them out in person next winter if access to rinks continues to be limited during the pandemic.
Ayla Abban, who burst onto the scene as a freshman last season for Duxbury, is at it again as a sophomore. She's kicked off the 2020-21 campaign with back-to-back two-goal games, this time waiting for the third period to do her damage in a 4-0 win over Hingham.

The Challenge: Double Agents Recap, Season 36 Episode 4
This episode begins, like all of them, with everyone returning from the Crater. Tori reiterates to Fessy and Aneesa in a hot tub that she doesn't want to work with him. We learn that Aneesa views Tori as her "rock" and that Fessy feels a connection with Tori despite her being engaged. It sort of feels like we're about to see a threesome, except that Cory is standing outside the hot tub watching them suspiciously.
The next morning, Amber relays the Devin situation to Nelson, her partner, and Cory. I don't know what it is with the men on this show falsely accusing women of crying, but Nelson goes to Devin and tells him multiple times that Amber was "crying on [his] shoulder" about their argument when she clearly was not. In fact, every time Nelson says the word cry, we see a shot of Amber looking incredibly chill.
Baseball Weekend secures first guest
The Fourth Annual Baseball Weekend has approved its first featured guest that may stir interest in a younger audience: Former St. Louis Cardinals center fielder Jim Edmonds.
Edmonds, who retired in 2010, has also kept on the Major League Baseball scene by serving as a game analyst for the past four seasons with the MLB's Cardinals television broadcast team on FOX Sports Midwest.
Baseball Weekend Chairman Mike Dugan said while there are still many uncertainties of what the August event will hold, they are hopeful to bring back another retired Cardinal: Al Hrabosky, a Baseball Weekend regular.
