The gorgeous 47-year-old, one of the magazine’s most iconic swimsuit models, was seen in two images. One was taken earlier in her modeling career when she was the first African-American woman to grace the cover of the magazine in the winter of 1997. The second was snapped in 2019, 23 years later.

Baton Rouge native named First Rookie of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2020 issue
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge native, Brooks Nader, has been named the first-ever, in-person Sports Illustrated rookie for the magazine's 2020 Swimsuit issue, SI reports .
SI says Nader attended the open casting call in Miami in 2018 and made her way to the final six out of more than 10,000 Instagram and in-person hopefuls.
The final six women in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit model search traveled to The Bahamas in February to be photographed for the 2019 issue. Yu Tsai took the photos for the spread, SI says.
