Hot-handed Lady Royals down Mohawk to close out 2020

HOLMES TOWNSHIP - Scoring when the shot is there is crucial in the game of basketball. Missing shots and not taking advantage of open looks can be the deciding factor in a game.

On Tuesday night, Wynford showed its ability to get the ball in on open looks as the Lady Royals notched a 71-34 victory over league opponent Mohawk.

The game got off to a slow start, however Wynford used efficient scoring and a great press, as well as forcing seven Lady Warrior turnovers, to stretch their lead to 23-10 after a quarter of play.
