2 Girls and a Game: Bubble, Broken Events and More Bernard - The Curling News
En route to the Calgary Bubble, some of Canada’s provinces are sending their defending champions – and one is deliberating if they’ll accept the invitation. Others, like Quebec, have something unusual up their sleeve.
The Girls also comment on a red-hot social media topic, curling headlines and their Cheryl Bernard interview, which proved to be a very popular episode.

We have failed to recognise the contributions of First Nations women and girls | Indigenous
I've been with women who drive young people to activities and give food to those sleeping rough. They do this after long days in jobs where they are frequently overworked and underpaid. When home, they open their doors to give counsel to family or community members in need.
I have sat in classrooms with girls who are so proud of their identity. Despite hearing racism from teachers and students, they fought to embed First Nations histories and knowledges in their lessons. Girls have said to me with so much conviction that Australia should celebrate First Nations heritage and culture, not just at Naidoc, but every day of the year.
The 100 Best Songs of 2020: Staff List | Billboard
And oh yeah, there was that whole global shutdown thing that happened two and a half months into the year -- which gave Taylor the time and space to record and release Folklore less than a year after her last LP, which made radio rally around the same handful of comfort-food pop hits to an unprecedented level, and which made the top of the Hot 100 chaotic enough that we had 20 different No. 1s over the space of the year's final nine months.
But even if 2020 proved to be a very strange place for pop music, it was also an undeniably fruitful one. The uptempo revival that started to warm up on top 40 at the end of 2019 broke into a full-on sprint in early 2020, resulting in some of the best synth-pop and disco-based hits we've heard on the FM dial in ages. Hip-hop's billion dollar Babies ruled the summer with open-hearted hits that reflected unthinkably turbulent times while still sounding massive blaring out of car stereos.

If You Give A Girl A Donut | Severna Park
Donut Shack immediately transports you to a gentler time. The 1970s décor — a long counter with colorful yellow, black and red vinyl stools, and the small tables with bright red plastic chairs — is an instant shot of nostalgia.
According to the restaurant's website, Donut Shack began in 1978. Ownership changed hands a few times before Bill and Stacey Prevezanos took over in 1985 and kept the business going for 34 years. After a brief transition when Donut Shack had new owners, a group of locals invested in the Severna Park mainstay. They wanted to restore it to its glory days, utilizing original recipes from the Prevezanos family.
