LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A 10-year-old Lafayette boy is spreading holiday cheer for a good cause.
"My fundraiser is on Friday, December 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. right here in my driveway," Emile Myer said.
This is his second year setting up his pop-up hot cocoa shop and donating the proceeds to a local nonprofit.
“We will accept $2 for paper cups and $10 for my mugs, which have the masked reindeer on the front,” he explained.

The Flight Attendant: Cassie's Most Terrible Decisions
Don't act all suspicious after poorly cleaning up a crime scene in your hotel room!
As soon as Cassie does flee the scene of the crime, she starts acting erratically, wrapping a scarf around her (which confuses her friend Rosie Perez), insisting that it's weird that their flight is delayed (it's not, according to Rosie Perez), and accidentally serving vodka to an air marshal who only asked for soda (a crime, says Rosie Perez).
Don't try to run away from your interview with the FBI!
Once Cassie lands back in the U.S., she gets called into an interview with the FBI because they have, of course, found the hot guy's body and, of course, are interviewing the flight attendants on the hot guy's plane. Cassie tries to duck out of this interview by just walking out of the airport pretending she does not hear the announcer repeatedly saying her name.

Girl Scouts in Silver Creek receive honors before the pandemic. Three are hoping to raise $5,000 to benefit cats at a Dunkirk shelter.
Three 14-year old Girl Scouts, members of Troop 20069, have been pursuing their Silver Award, the highest honor a Cadette Girl Scout can achieve.
Cadettes are girls who are in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. They work hard together to tackle a problem and figure out how to solve it, this time for the entire community.

United Boys & Girls Clubs Serve Thanksgiving To-Go Meals - The Santa Barbara Independent
United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County's traditional sit-down community Thanksgiving dinner looks a little different this year. In the past, each Club site would have a Thanksgiving community meal. Some sites would partner with their local school districts, and other sites would have local donations and donors wanting to prepare the meal.
This year, thanks to UBGC donors and the help from Country Catering Company in Goleta, UBGC will be able to distribute 300 family meals that feed a family of four. The dinner will be precooked and will need to be warmed up in the pan it's handed out in. Families were able to RSVP for meals.
