Amazon Prime Day 2020 has officially begun. Today and tomorrow, October 13 and 14, the online retailer is offering steep discounts on a variety of products, from televisions and collectibles to movies and, of course, video games and accessories. Amazon has already offered some early deals in the leadup to Prime Day, including some on PS5 and Xbox Series X games, but there are a ton more discounts to sift through now that the sale has officially begun.
Not to be outdone, various other retailers, including Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop, are also holding their own anti-Prime Day sales to compete with Amazon, which means you've got plenty of options when it comes to picking up great games on the cheap. With so many different retailers competing for your money, it can be a little overwhelming trying to find the best savings, so we've rounded up some of the best game deals we've found across all the major retailers.

Trolli debuts video game to win over young consumers | Marketing Dive
Trolli's decision to launch a video game stemmed from the goal of wanting to attract gamers to its snack by providing levity during tumultuous times and poking fun at internet themes, per a statement by Dave Foldes, senior brand manager for Trolli.
The campaign comes as candy brands like Trolli and parent company Ferrara have had to revamp their campaigns in advance of Halloween, as the coronavirus pandemic upends traditional plans around trick-or-treating and parties. Ferrara has had some success with its Trolli efforts, as a previous ad campaign drove a 190% spike in e-commerce shipments, and its sales overall have increased two-fold over the past eight years.

5 Scary Villains In Video Games I Can't Deal With
I am a self-confessed video game wimp. Horror games have never been my forte, mostly because I can’t stand the genre even in film. While the more insidious, cerebral threats of the 1980’s horror has always been more terrifying to me, the gore-fests of the 2000s turned me away from horror for good. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t played my fair share of scary games. So here are 5 Scary Villains in games that get me to curl up into a ball.

Let’s get a classic out of the way first and foremost. Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 didn’t just scare me, he creeped me the hell out. In fact, some of the scariest things he ever does aren’t even to the player.

If you have a Switch, you need a microSD card to store more than a game and a half. Sandisk is the way to go, and the 128GB model is on sale and tacked onto a year of Switch Online, which would normally run you about $20.
Video Games Need to Start Experimenting with Schlock | CBR
Games like Deadly Premonition have become cult classics thanks to their ludicrously cheesy demeanor. They are highly original titles that give players unforgettable gaming experiences. Even if the player thinks the game is a heaping pile of gutter trash, the chances of them remembering its sheer ridiculousness are extraordinarily high. Many people want to play these games just to see what all the hype is about.

Most B-rated movies are made with extremely low budgets, which means even if they don't perform well, they can still turn a profit. The same thing could apply to schlocky video games. B-rated games don't require AAA budgets. Developers need just enough cash to make a memorable title with cheesy gameplay and decent controls.
