After modeling for seven years, Kim Riekenberg is making her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut.
The German star is featured in the current issue on newsstands now , which also highlights Kate Bock , Jasmine Sanders and Olivia Culpo as the newest coveted cover girls.

Clarissa Bowers was in class at Vanderbilt University when the model learned she was one of the top six finalists in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2020 Model Search.
And the 22-year-old is in good company. The student studying neuroscience joins Kathy Jacobs , Tanaye White , Jamea Lynee, Christie Valdiserri and Brielle Anyea as one of the select few who will pose for the magazine this year in hopes of becoming the final Model Search winner.

Minnesota model Halima Aden in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
Minnesota's Halima Aden, who was met with both criticism and praise following her SI debut, first appeared in the 2016 Miss Minnesota Pageant at 19-years old. The St. Cloud St. student, who was born in a refugee camp in Kenya, came to the U.S. at age six. She was the first woman to wear a hijab in that pageant where she finished as a semi-finalist.
Sports Illustrated has a recent history of featuring non-traditional models and tackled various topics such as ageism, body image, plus-sized models, and the Me Too Movement. In 2019, the editors made a commitment to be more inclusive, and present models with many diverse backgrounds.

The Baton Rouge, La., beauty made heads turn when she attended the magazine’s first-ever open casting call in Miami in 2018, earning a spot in the final six out of more than 10,000 applicants. The model went on to be named the 2019 model search winner.
Sports Illustrated Reveals Diverse Group Of Swimsuit Issue Finalists
One of the first finalists is Christie Valdiserri. The 25-year-old has alopecia and will become the first-ever model to pose bald for Sports Illustrated. From there, we have a 56-year-old by the name of Kathy Jacobs who is adamant about redefining what age is all about. Brielle Anyea is the third finalist and will be representing plus-size models.

From there, the final three models are Clarissa Bowers, a recent Miss World contestant. Tanaye White and Jamea Lynne Byrd are the other two contestants who have a shot at winning. Their spread will be shot in Turks & Caicos and the winner will be determined shortly after.
