Hunter McGrady wants to change fashion industry's sample size

"It's always a pinch-me moment ... I still can't believe that I'm in this issue and now for four years in a row. And every year, the magazine just gets more diverse and more inclusive, and I'm so proud to be a part of a brand that gets it," she says. "My passion lies in so many different outlets and I think that's what was so powerful about it. They really opened these doors for me and helped me make a name for myself."

With the recognition that she received as a plus-size model in the magazine, McGrady garnered an audience and began to create a community based on the need for more inclusivity throughout the industry. She even started a viral hashtag #AllWorthy that appeared on her posts and encouraged others to adopt the saying.

Did Chrissy Teigen share her phone number?

Many others, however, poked fun at how this was not the first time she had posted personal information on a public forum. "Queen of accidentally posting contact information," one Twitter user wrote while sharing a screenshot of her 2019 tweet. Another joked: "The amount on accidents you keep making on that app." Another Twitter user mocked her: "I wish I could accidentally post my number on Instagram and get hundreds of calls in minutes so I can thank everyone for their concern on Twitter."

Hunter McGrady shares her favorite beauty and fashion items

"Inclusion is something that I am so incredibly passionate about. I will scream it from the rooftops and I will not stop until I feel like everyone is represented," she told TODAY.

The model has been an advocate for body positivity for years, and she personally understands how some women feel excluded from the fashion conversation.

"I've been a size 2 through 18 and everything in between. I felt and I do still feel like there is such a lack of representation for plus-size women," she said. "Personally, I'm still not able to shop at brick-and-mortar stores; my whole shopping experience is online."

Brielle Anyea Opens Up About Race, Diversity & Modelling | Glamour UK

Brielle Anyea is a powerhouse. There was no seat at fashion's table for her as a plus-size Black model, so, five and half years ago, Brielle went and built her own table, making up her own rules - and breaking industry standards - as she went along modeling for the likes of ASOS, Nelly, Kohl's and Nike.

Keen to open up the fashion world to genuine diversity, Brielle, 25, has now even set up her own online modelling course, launching The It Girl Model Experience , earlier this year, which, she says, teaches "how to model in the new age," including everything from building your own personal brand on social media to posing and wellbeing.
