Sailor Brinkley-Cook gave fans of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue a few more sizzling modeling shots to appreciate on Wednesday when she showed off one of the designs from the magazine’s 2020 swimwear line.
Sailor, 22, is the daughter of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit icon Christie Brinkley, 66. She has also appeared in the pages of the popular publication herself, so she made an ideal model for one of the pieces from SI ‘s collaboration with the swimwear brand Venus. In a series of four photos that she uploaded to her Instagram page, the Dancing with the Stars competitor rocked a one-piece from the line.

Over the years, the annual open casting call has helped SI Swimsuit discover break-out stars including Camille Kostek, who landed a solo cover in 2019

On Tuesday, the iconic franchise kicked off the open casting call in partnership with coconut water brand Vita Coco to give both aspiring and established models the opportunity to meet with the SI Swimsuit team in hopes of earning a coveted Rookie spot in the 2021 issue.
The first round of Swim Search entries will be submitted and reviewed digitally due to the coronavirus pandemic , according to a press release.

When Tanaye White told her parents she was quitting her corporate job to pursue modeling full time, they were concerned and excited at the same time.

White is the only model in the swimsuit edition sporting her natural Afro, a choice she hopes shows other Black women they don't have to compromise their identity to be successful. She wants to promote more inclusion and diversity in magazines.
"There is such a strong need for more of it, even though the industry is making steps forward, there is still a long way to go," White said. "As one of the Black models in the magazine, I feel empowered to represent for women who have darker skin or kinkier hair."

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl for 2019 made her debut in the magazine back in 2018 as a part of the first-ever open casting call. She, along with pal Haley Kalil , went on to win the competition that year.
And just as quickly, the 28-year-old made the cover the following year alongside Tyra Banks and Alex Morgan . Along the way, Kostek has used Instagram to raise awareness on the importance of body positivity to her nearly 800K followers and encourage fans to break a sweat in a fun way with her #NeverNotDancing movement.

The 26-year-old surfer has been dominating the water since she was 1a young teenager. Manuel became the youngest U.S. Open of Surfing champion at 14 years of age in 2008.
Manuel, a Hawaii native, has gone on to win several notable competitions. Now, she’s adding professional modeling to her resume.

A prominent Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has reportedly been spotted with a new Major League Baseball star.
Chase Carter, a 23-year-old model, previously dated New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton. However, the two broke up some time before the 2020 Major League Baseball season.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has since been spotted with a different MLB star. Chase has reportedly been seen getting cozy with Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Cody Bellinger. The 25-year-old outfielder is the reigning National League MVP.
