Hundreds have pledged to improve participation in women’s and girl’s sports in North Yorkshire
HUNDREDS of people have taken the opportunity during lockdown to help boost women and girl's future participation in sport.
An online learning hub launched in April aimed to help organisations attract more female participants to their sports sessions and retain them.
Almost 600 people across the region have now completed the Engaging Women and Girls in Sport and Physical Activity course and many are going on to make positive changes in the future, including plans to add female-only sessions and offering girls-only after school clubs.
