When most kids think of a day of fun, walking the length of a marathon may not be the first thing that comes to mind. For a group of five Westville girls, they took the idea as a challenge and set out to walk the length of a marathon in one day around their hometown.
The group of 12 and 13 year olds heard of the idea from a friend who had done it previously and thought that it might be a cool way to spend a day together and spend some time outside.

Karters put down hot laps at race | Bega District News | Bega, NSW
The Sapphire Coast Kart Club were able to successfully host their second Club Day of the season on Sunday.
With support from Bega Excavation and Drainage as well as the Tea Tree Road House the club were able to offer racing for an energetic field of 21 racers on the day.
Club officials said it was a wonderful turnout with the club welcoming four girls, while the karters also welcomed young gun Oscar Haddon made his debut in the cadet 9s.
