Rust Girls Estate Sales Is An Augusta Treasure | State | fairfieldsuntimes.com

To know a fiery red-headed gal with a heart of gold and a mind packed full of antiques knowledge is to know Ginger Evans of Rust Girls Estate Sales in Augusta.

The Augusta News and The Augusta Times are owned by Sun Times Printing and Publishing, LLC. (Fairfield Sun Times)

Evans has a storied past having owned Lakeside Bar at Hauser Lake, Ginger's Bar in East Helena and Ginger's Saloon in Sun River. Evans operated the establishments, but always had folks bringing things into the bar asking her to buy them; hence was born the ol' bar/antique mall model which she perfected in her bars.

CDC director concedes schools in 'hot spots' face tougher call on reopening - The Washington Post

The leader of the nation's premier public health agency Friday amplified President Trump's call for schools to reopen, releasing new documents edited by the White House that gloss over risks and extol the benefits of in-person learning.

The mixed messaging was another indication of how public health officials at the CDC have been squeezed between Trump's demand for a normal school year and an out-of-control virus.

The new CDC guidelines, released late Thursday under pressure from the White House, detail at length the academic and other benefits to children of in-person learning, as well as the economic impact of allowing parents to work. They say little about the risks of reopening.

Community Celebrates Local Girl's Last Day of Chemotherapy - Discoverweyburn.com

"We say if it wasn't for Cora and her upbeat attitude her determination, her beautiful smiles, and singing every day," said Sandra Moser, Cora's grandmother. "We probably would have found it much more difficult to get through each day."

The family had invited the community out to take part in the celebration of the final treatment. Dozens gathered when Cora had arrived, including the fire department that was, unfortunately, called away just before Cora had arrived. However, one fire truck was able to stick around to flash its lights when Cora arrived.
