SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated has brought a fan-favorite 3D platformer into the modern age. The SpongeBob remake has been popular on Steam , netting 15,419 concurrent users after launch, but many have expressed issues with all different versions of the game. Luckily, it appears THQ Nordic is aware of these concerns and has begun pushing out patches.
The publisher told players via Twitter that a patch, updating the game to version 1.0.2, is now available that fixes "minor issues" and adds Japanese voice acting from Yoji Ueda; known for playing Paz in Ghost in the Shell ; as Squidward. No patch notes have been released for the update, but comments on Twitter and Reddit have suggested it fixed a previously glitched golden spatula in Squidward's House and improved resolution on Switch.
