Fashion Faux Pas for the 30-Something: Mini Skirts

If my mother is reading this, I LOVE YOU! I'm not trying to villainize you. I would just like not to be put down for my fashion choices.

* * *

Now that I've officially joined the 30-something club as of January 12, myself and other ladies aged 30 and over should stop wearing mini skirts according to Rant Chic’s article of things women over 30 shouldn’t wear.

Is your mini skirt showing a bit more thigh than usual, but covers enough of your ass to not show the world your chonies? If that's the case, that's totally fine. It's also about using your better judgment for when to rock a mini. Do you work in a conservative workplace? Probably best to stick with more "work appropriate" attire and leave the mini for weekends or when you have time off. When I'm not writing for Wear Your Voice, I work as a tutor at a community college.

To remake the modern world, Christians must get back to their ancient roots

Many of their observations were eerily familiar: society was materialist, hypocrites flaunted false virtue, capitalism had failed and the universities churned out conformists. To thinkers like C S Lewis, T S Eliot and W H Auden, the outbreak of war was a symptom of the weakness of Christian civilisation, and yet it also reinforced the case for the Christian ethic, which compels people to love one another whether they like each other or not.

Dua Lipa Poses In Tied-Up Pink Shirt & Miniskirt While Telling Fans She’s Close To Her

Dua Lipa took to Instagram to announce some exciting news while wearing an eye-catching ensemble.

The “Don’t Start Now” chart-topper stunned in a short-sleeved pink shirt which she tied up. The unbuttoned top displayed her midriff. She paired the ensemble with a white and blue miniskirt that fell above her knees. Lipa accessorized with long white gloves, numerous rings, and hoop earrings. She applied colorful shimmery eyeshadow and a red lip.

In the image, Lipa took a selfie in the mirror with her phone. She was captured from the knees up in what appeared to be a dressing room. The British singer was in the company of two women behind her who were in front of a counter full of makeup products. Another person sat down behind Lipa. They were mostly covered up by the singer, though their snake-print boots were visible.

Not to change the topic here:

My favourite sporting moment: I see Georgie walking, walking, walking and then gone

To the rag and bone man, who stopped his cart in the entry beside our back door and whose horse I fed grass with the flattest of hands and for which I was kicked in the stomach leaving the perfect red outline of a horse's hoof on my white belly, he was Georgie.

To Cadbury's Mr Heinz , who for free product took my ratings for all new chocolate bars to come to market and stack on our shelves, he was Georgie. To Mamie Sheehan in the Home Bakery, Aldo in The Continental Cafe to sentinel Harry O'Neill, an Antrim GAA man and keeper of the ground outside the Rock Bar at the bottom of Rockmore Road, he was Georgie.

Dress to impress at home: Retailers recast spring looks for coronavirus lockdowns

NEW YORK, April 2 (Reuters) - Desperate to sell pricey spring looks during the coronavirus lockdown, retailers are turning to social media to show their latest styles in somber, stay-at-home settings.

The sexy, $298 Reformation summer dress? A model wears it lounging alone on her bed. The $148 lime green miniskirt with buttons? It looks fine next to the house plant.

Skimpy dresses, brightly-colored jackets and mini skirts typically fly off retailers' shelves at this time of year. But not in 2020.

Anna Nystrom Wows Fans In Plunging Neckline Top & Leather Mini Skirt With Thigh-High Slit

Blond beauty Anna Nystrom is well-known for her incredible figure, and she put it on display in what appears to be a sexy leather mini skirt in her latest Instagram update.

While it's not clear if Anna's outfit actually consists of a mini dress or skirt, the hot number is somewhat racier than the more conservative outfits she usually shares online. However, her fans didn't seem to have a problem with it. The figure-hugging ensemble had a plunging neckline that went all the way down to her abdomen, giving her fans a good look at her cleavage. A thigh-high slit drew the eye to her hips in the skintight number.
