MANSFIELD - Another weekend of unique winter competition is in store at Snow Trails all day Saturday and Sunday.
The 59th Ski Carnival begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and wraps up after the awards ceremony at 4 p.m. Sunday.
More than 5,000 visitors are expected to hit the slopes of Richland County during the event, according to Nate Wolleson, the marketing manager at Snow Trails.
"For anyone just coming out to watch, it's incredibly entertaining," Wolleson said. "They can have a bratwurst and a beverage. That makes it fun."
