Valiant, Blowfish Studios Team for Superhero Video Games (Exclusive) | Hollywood Reporter
Valiant Entertainment has teamed up with Blowfish Studios, the indie game developer behind games such as Siegecraft and Gunscape , to develop a slate of multiplatform video games featuring the popular characters from the company’s superhero universe.
Details are being kept in the hard drive but this is Valiant’s first foray into the video game business since the mid-1990s, when the company was owned by publisher Acclaim Entertainment. Acclaim, which created several games based on characters such as Turok , went bankrupt in 2004.

Best Pokémon Video Games - Top 5 Pokemon Titles to Play
Pokémon has a long history of remaking its own games with newer models and ridiculous titles. From FireRed to SoulSilver, the retro remakes are plentiful. But none benefited as much from a redo as Ruby and Sapphire. Originally hailing from the aforementioned Third Generation, it was retooled a decade later on the 3DS.

Does this title get special treatment because it was the first in the series? Yep, but not without reason. Red and Blue was the first Pokémon game released internationally, and it brought collect and battle gaming to a whole new scale. The game introduced nearly all of the most identifiable characters, and still holds such immense nostalgia with players now. There’s a reason Red and Blue won't stop popping up in newer games.

The Witcher Video Games Are Still Better Than the Books & Netflix Series | Collider
In a now infamous deal between Sapkowski and CDPR, which resulted in an equally infamous lawsuit that seems to have come to a mutually amicable end as of this year, the author essentially signed over the video game adaptation rights to his creation for a single lump sum.

So now, after nearly 30 years of The Witcher mythology, fans have a series of novels and short stories at their disposal, along with three video games, and the new Netflix series led by Henry Cavill ; we’ll just pretend that 2001 Polish series The Hexer is only for the super-fan. That’s a lot of content. But not all of it is created equal.
A landmark year for racing video games means even better days ahead on new consoles - Polygon
In a banner year for motorsports video games, KT Racing's lightly regarded WRC series stands out as the best example of a genre undergoing a renaissance.
At the time it launched in early September, little was expected from WRC 8. Dirt Rally 2.0 had launched seven months before, and under KT Racing (a department of Paris-based Kylotonn) the series had been known as a serviceable, no-frills and even arcade-like presentation of the World Rally Championship . A code slid under my door one week and I said I'd get around to it.

Star Wars 'Rise of Skywalker' embraces all the worst parts of video game storytelling - The
Editor's note: This story contains spoilers for the plot of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker." Like, a lot of them. It's best if you don't read until after you've seen it.
There has long been a close tie between video games and the release of the very first Star Wars film. Indeed, some of the earliest video games took place in space , and many of them were based off Star Wars. But after seeing "The Rise of Skywalker," I'm now convinced more than ever that the Star Wars brand as it exists now would rather be video games.
