Kathy Jacobs: I was a petite model in the 80s for FORD Models–I was fighting for inclusiveness in the modeling industry over 30 years ago! I recently contacted my old agent, who is now with Icon Focus (models over 40), and she said clients only want tall models. So the modeling industry is now becoming more inclusive for older models...but only if they are tall.

Sports Illustrated is going to be different under new ownership, and while I suppose that is to be expected, I am not excited about what the magazine is likely to become.
First of all, we will get less of it — publishing fewer issues, they say, with more in-depth pieces. I like the sound of that, but whom are they kidding? Who out there can write like Dan Jenkins, John Underwood, Tex Maule and Jack Olsen? Those iconic and classic essayists?

Baton Rouge native Brooks Nader officially won the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 Model Search.

According to the outlet , Brooks attended the open casting call in Miami last year and made it to the final six out of over 10,000 Instagram and in-person applicants. The final six women then traveled to Paradise Island, The Bahamas in February of this year to shoot with photographer Yu Tsai for a spread in the 2019 issue.
