Miami Beach 'House of the Future' Floats Onto the Market for $27M - The Middletown Press

A Miami Beach home designed with rising sea levels in mind has floated onto the market for $27 million. Architect Max Strang created the home expressly for its locale, raising it 13 feet above sea level.

“The house has elevated expectations and raised the bar,” says listing agent Eloy Carmenate . He and Mick Duchon , both of Douglas Elliman, represent the listing.

“It’s set a new standard for what a luxury home at this price point is like,” Carmenate adds. "It’s so elegant. We call it the house of the future because it’s elevated. And it’s the future of Miami Beach.”

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition has been notorious for featuring impossibly sexy, bikini-clad models in alluring poses.

"Ladies, anything is possible," Aden said on Instagram. "Being in Sports Illustrated is so much bigger than me. It's sending a message to my community and the world that women of all different backgrounds, looks, upbringings … can stand together and be celebrated."

'Sports Illustrated' Is Sold Again, But Publishing Won't Shift To New Owner Yet : NPR

Media company Meredith has announced that it has agreed to sell the Sports Illustrated brand to entertainment company Authentic Brands Group for $110 million. Mark Lennihan/AP hide caption

The Meredith Corp. acquired Sports Illustrated in January 2018 along with a bunch of other titles as part of its purchase of Time Inc. Meredith moved to unload most Time Inc. magazines that were not focused on its primary audience: female readers. And those moves also reflected the flagging finances of major legacy publications.
