A Miami Beach home designed with rising sea levels in mind has floated onto the market for $27 million. Architect Max Strang created the home expressly for its locale, raising it 13 feet above sea level.
“The house has elevated expectations and raised the bar,” says listing agent Eloy Carmenate . He and Mick Duchon , both of Douglas Elliman, represent the listing.
“It’s set a new standard for what a luxury home at this price point is like,” Carmenate adds. "It’s so elegant. We call it the house of the future because it’s elevated. And it’s the future of Miami Beach.”
