Indian Brook man says he spotted UFO in Nova Scotia skies | Provincial | News | The Chronicle

Roger Ward and his wife Amy Maloney are still shaken up after encountering what they believe was a UFO last week.

The Indian Brook couple was taking their granddaughter to dance in Elmsdale on Thursday when Ward looked up in the sky to admire the beautiful sunset. What he saw among the red and orange clouds has him asking questions that still have no answers.

"It was probably about two kilometres away when I saw it," Ward said Tuesday in a phone interview. "It was pretty big. It was like the size of a football field or something. It was huge. It looked like a big anvil - a big grey anvil - in the sky.

The UFO sighting investigated by the police - BBC News

The Dechmont Woods incident is unusual among reported UFO sightings in that it was investigated by the police.

In his testimony to the police, the 61-year-old described how he saw a 30ft-high "dome-shaped" object in a clearing in the forest near the West Lothian new town on 9 November 1979.

He told how two-spiked spheres then rolled out towards him and, as he passed out, he was aware of being grabbed on either side of his legs. Mr Taylor woke up in a dishevelled state 20 minutes later.

Lake Michigan UFO sightings: After 25 years, mystery remains

Cindy Pravda, 63, of Grand Haven remembers that night in vivid detail — four lights in the sky that looked like "full moons" over the line of trees behind her horse pasture.

* * *

Today, the mystery remains unsolved, but it continues to fascinate extraterrestrial researchers, psychologists and history buffs alike.

Others gave similar accounts, including Holland Police Officer Jeff Velthouse and a meteorologist from the National Weather Service Office in Muskegon County. What's more, the meteorologist recorded unknown echoes on his radar the same time Velthouse reported the lights.

When UFOs Buzzed the White House and the Air Force Blamed the Weather - HISTORY

So when a rash of strange sightings was reported in the skies over Washington D.C. that summer, the press and the public demanded answers. Were these unexplained radar blips, crafts that in some cases outran jets , part of a nuclear-armed Soviet invasion—a very real threat at the height of the Red Scare? Or were they evidence of something far more mysterious?

It all started in 1947, when a search-and-rescue pilot named Kenneth Arnold reported nine "saucer-like things...flying like geese in a diagonal chainlike line" at speeds exceeding 1,000 m.p.h. near Mount Rainier in Washington State. Within weeks, “flying saucer” sightings had been reported in 40 other states.

Navy UFO | UFO Sightings | The Truth About the Navy's UFOs

The five men share an easy rapport with each other, playfully ribbing one another while also communicating a deep sense of mutual respect. It’s clear they all share the bond of having once served in the armed forces. Yet for Gary Voorhis, Jason Turner, P.J. Hughes, Ryan Weigelt, and Kevin Day—assembled together in a private group chat by Popular Mechanics —something much bigger ties them together beyond simply serving in the U.S. Navy.

Ultimately, these five men—the “other” Nimitz witnesses—could be key to understanding an event that a leading aviation defense expert says “likely wasn’t ours.”

UFO Sighting 2019: Fleet Of Spaceships Spotted Over Moon

Another alien theory is currently circulating online saying that a fleet of UFOs can be seen passing through the surface of the Moon.

According to self-professed alien expert, Scott Waring, he took to his portal etdatabase.com to share his thoughts on a video uploaded by Terrys Theories on Youtube.

* * *

Waring said in his post , "He posted a video from an eyewitness that caught three unidentified flying objects moving past our moon. The exciting part of this is that when I enlarged the screenshots, I could clearly make out three box-like objects. No visible propulsion, wings, or tails which rule out birds. As the UFOs approach the edge of the moon, they tighten closer together. That made me think birds until I made the close-up and saw the truth. These are three alien ships."

UFO sighting: Conspiracy fears after NASA Space Shuttle photos reveal 3 'unknown

And the trio were seen and photographed from NASA’s Space Shuttle, during the STS 32 and STS 61 Shuttle missions.

* * *

The first object discussed was spotted in a photographic burst outside of the Space Shuttle STS032 mission as it orbited over the ocean.

“The UFO is flat, metallic, black and also facing the Space Shuttle’s window at intervals.

“To say this is simply a Space Shuttle solar panel fragment therefore sounds a little ridiculous.
