"I have no idea," Logano said. "It went from a really good car to a car that couldn't stay on the lead lap with changing tires and a half-pound of air. A lot of things don't line up there. That doesn't make any sense."
Crew chief Todd Gordon told NBCSports.com that he merely removed a half-pound of air pressure from the right rear of the No. 22 Ford.
"I really struggle to say that a half-pound of air pressure that we changed in one tire makes that much of a difference," he said.

A Strange Glitch Sent Tons Of Mysterious Text Messages To Phones Nationwide | HuffPost
"Can you open door?" read a text message received by HuffPost Senior Culture Writer Zeba Blay on Thursday morning. It was from her mother, who was nowhere nearby.
Senior Food and Style Editor Kristen Aiken received a text from her grandmother on Thursday that read "Nice looking boy!" Her grandmother rarely texts and they hadn't been talking about a boy.
Numerous people woke up to odd text messages like these ― sent from friends and family members, even exes. They seemed to make little sense. The messages appeared disjointed, not relevant to any current or ongoing conversation. To add further mystery to the ordeal, people weren't just receiving these messages; others were accused of sending them ― despite not having any evidence in their outgoing message logs.
The Rumor Queue: Mysterious new structure at Hollywood Studios
A new temporary building has suddenly shown up in the cast member parking lot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At first it was thought to be a part of the Christmas parade filming, but this structure appears to be made for something else entirely.
The temporary building does not yet appear to be complete, but work is continuing quickly. In fact, large concealed trucks were seen dropping off supplies days ago. The logo shown on the truck is simply the tarp company and does not relate to the supplies within. This building is visible to the park guests, if they know where to look, as the cast member parking lot is right next to the guest parking lot.
Quite a lot has been going on:
Mysterious Laser Turret Appears On US Navy Destroyer USS Dewey - The Drive
A photo from one of our awesome commenters, James Milliken, shows the American Arleigh Burk e class destroyer USS Dewey (DDG-105) outfitted with a new turreted system installed on its forward close-in weapon system pedestal—an area usually left open on the majority of Flight IIA Arleigh Burke class destroyers. The image was taken in San Diego very recently. The use of Dewey for integrating new technologies isn't surprising.
The installation looks most like renderings of Lockheed's HELIOS laser system, which is set to be installed in that position on an Arleigh Burke class destroyer for its initial fielding, but that is supposed to be at least a couple of years out from occurring. The Ruggedized High Energy Laser (RHEL), a similar effort, is also in the works, but the installation of such a highly integrated system at this time also seems outside of that program's schedule.
Mysterious tree-sitting cat of San Mateo is found — his humans didn't want him anymore -

If you missed previous reports, Royce the cat's 15 minutes of fame came last month 40 feet up a wind-lashed fir tree that he had sat in for four straight days.
Concerned neighbors worried that he would starve milled about under the tree. A TV station truck pulled up and popped out a camera crew. Firefighters mounted a ladder but couldn't reach the striking feline, a flame-point Siamese.
Teeth carry clues to mysterious early human Aurignacians - ISRAEL21c
Their findings, published in the Journal of Human Evolution , shed light on a significant era in the region’s history when it was populated by these culturally sophisticated yet mysterious early humans.
Aurignacian culture can be traced back some 43,000 years in Europe. Surviving artifacts include bone tools, jewelry, musical instruments and cave paintings.
The new study adds evidence to the genetic studies behind the increasingly accepted theory that Neanderthals did not vanish but rather assimilated into human immigrant populations and arrived in what is now Israel about 40,000 years ago.
