FC London can complete a sweep of the League1 Ontario soccer championships when the men’s team takes on Master’s Futbol Friday night at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Woodbridge.
FC London, who finished seventh in the regular season, all but guaranteed their place in the men’s final with a 5-0 road win in the first leg of their semifinal against Alliance United FC in Markham on Sept. 14 and they didn’t take their feet off the gas with a 10-0 win back in London on Friday.
With their place in the final secure, FC London coach Michael Marcoccia, who also coaches the women’s team, had extra time to scout the opposition.
