This week's major events include the girls swimming and diving season meet opener, boys basketball competes in the Arvest Bank Classic Tournament Nov . 29-Dec. 1, and high school wrestling dual opener. Home games are in bold. Monday, Nov. 26 HS Boys Basketball They Little Cyclones have won four-straight state championships and eight of the past nine, constantly fielding a dominant group.

They graduated some exceptional, Division I-bound athletes from last year, but are still poised for success this season thanks to striking improvement from returners. The Blackshirts finished tied for first in the JV, and tied for 2nd in the Varsity team scores. The team was able to swim to wins in 6 relays and finished 2nd in 7 other relays during the meet. That helped them win their season opener on Tuesday, topping Fort Dodge 145-38 at home.

“They’re just so much better than they were a year ago,” Ames coach Dan Flannery said of his returning swimmers. “That says something when you win state one year and 14 state qualifiers are back and they’re all better.”

Sports Illustrated bombshell Brooks Nader made some waves on Instagram on Tuesday in a sultry video posted by the magazine’s official Instagram page. In the clip, the brunette beauty is shaking her hips in the ocean as she gives the camera a smoldering stare, all while wearing a silver bikini with a cold-shoulder neckline.

The video appears to have been a hit with Sports Illustrated’s Instagram followers. As of writing, the clip has accumulated close to 90,000 views and lots of comments as well. Some of those comments are from fellow Sports Illustrated models.

According to Fox 17 News, Promise started a new school this year and for the first few days she wore her hair in braids. Then she took the braids out and wore the afro she's accustomed to wearing. While the kids at her old school loved and complimented her natural hair, the kids at her new school began to tease her for it.
