“We’ve shown a lot of patience and endurance. We didn’t accept a Brexit delay in order to have to start negotiations again from scratch.”

“We’ve put a huge amount of effort into finding a deal that would secure an orderly exit… but our patience has run out and our confidence in London has eroded,” the source said, adding that the uncertainty surrounding Brexit had “damaged the UK’s credibility among the international community”.
“If the UK wants to be seen as a trustworthy state that respects its international commitments, it cannot choose to leave without a deal and to withhold the divorce bill,” the source continued.
'Why Peep Show shows London in a better light than EastEnders' - Ellie McKinnell - MyLondon
While EastEnders is quite obviously set in London, making 100 per cent sure everyone knows by putting it in the opening credits, Peep Show doesn't feel the need to scream about the fact it's in Croydon - viewers can use their brain to work that out.

"It's fine. Luckily we're all English so no-one's going to ask any questions. Thank you, centuries of emotional repression!"
"Is this a terrible idea? It can't be, it's in a film. They wouldn't put a terrible idea in a film, they'd get sued."
"I've watched Grand Designs with you. That smile when some eco-glass gets delayed on its way from Antwerp and the nice couple gets pushed over budget. That's the real you."

The WeWork soap opera had been scheduled to take a short hiatus, at least until Q3 numbers could be compiled, but then it surprised everyone with a pop-up episode over the weekend.
The unofficial narrative is that the directors were shocked, just shocked to find out that Neumann likes to smoke pot and had some questionable self-dealings with the company. Too bad they didn't ask anyone who knows Neumann about the former, or read their own financial disclosures about the latter.
What the directors do seem to have learned recently is that public market investors are very hesitant to invest in a WeWork with Neumann at the helm, so they're putting up a smoke-screen to deflect from their own blind spot.

The King of Hell's Palace review: Whistleblower drama is part Wikipedia entry, part soap opera | London Evening Standard Evening Standard Home Home
Impoverished families, still haunted by a recent famine, jump at the opportunity to sell their blood plasma for generous sums of money. But when Yin Yin discovers that pressure to increase supply has led to blood being mixed, she warns that it will become contaminated. Her pleas fall on deaf ears, and so does her discovery that samples have been found to be infected with HIV.
That corruption can be naked, power can inspire heartless greed: these are depressing cliches. What's needed is more sense of the emotional burden whistleblowing has on brave, uncompromising individuals like Dr Shuping – something the woman herself provided last night. Called on stage as the cast took their bow, she was so overcome she had to turn away.
