Love Island Hunk Unrecognisable As They Get Engaged In Sweet Tuscany Proposal 7 Years After Show...

A former Love Island star who initially didn't make much of a splash in the 2017 villa with a brief two days stint, has found his happily ever after seven years later.

Marino Katsouris, a Brighton resident, announced his engagement to girlfriend Dominique Asgeirsdottir on Instagram to his 2.3 million followers.

The romantic proposal took place in the picturesque setting of Tuscany, with both Marino and Dominique sharing heartwarming snaps from the special day. Dominique also provided a glimpse of the moment Marino got down on one knee in an Italian vineyard.

Echoing their joy, they penned in a combined message: ⁘Happiest day of our lives, we are in tears again reading all your lovely messages.⁘

Their fans were quick to give them well wishes, with one comment reading: ⁘You f*****g stud! ! ! Congrats guys⁘ while another chimed in, ⁘Dude you could make a Lifetime Movie with that. Magnificent and congrats.⁘

Describing himself now as a digital creator and ⁘bread enthusiast⁘, Marino's Instagram is filled with modelling shots and fitness brand sponsorships. Love Island devotees will recall him from the third series of the popular show, which he was more known for his fitness and gym sessions.

He entered the villa on day 26 but was sent packing just two days after. At the time of entering, he described himself as a 22 year old personal trainer and big extrovert.

However, he confessed to being ⁘fussy⁘ when it comes to women: ⁘I've only ever had one serious girlfriend because I'm pretty fussy. I'm picky with my girls, they have to tick all my boxes. I like taking girls out for dinner dates.⁘

ITV has recently confirmed that Love Island will be back on our screens on Monday June 3 , with Maya Jama reprising her role as host. The show will premiere simultaneously on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX. The rest of the series will continue to air on ITV2 and ITVX.
