FIFA faces questions for supermodel role before Women's WCup | News Channel 3-12

Lima's appointment to "develop, promote and participate in several global initiatives" was announced by FIFA on Monday hours before the former Victoria's Secret runway model helped present the fan prize in Paris at its annual award ceremony.

"Seriously, FIFA, is this the fan engagement ambassador we need as the (Women's World Cup) approaches?" wrote Moya Dodd , who was part of the co-hosting bid campaign for her native Australia and New Zealand, on her Twitter account.

Japanese fighter Nadaka Yoshinari was taking home fighter Patakhin Sinbi in the Muay Thai bout in Bangkok. With a minute left of the third round the fighters were exchanging blows with little to separate them when the brutal head kick was landed out of nowhere.

Yoshinari caught his opponent with a kick to the side of his cheek sending Sinbi straight to the floor and unresponsive as the referee quickly stopped the bout. Yoshinari was seen celebrating his victory in the ring while spectators were filmed visibly shocked by what they had seen.
