NASA would get $26 billion in new budget request - The Verge

President Joe Biden is requesting a whopping $26 billion for NASA for 2023, roughly $2 billion more than the space agency received for the current fiscal year, according to newly released budget documents from the White House .

Roughly $7.5 billion is being set aside for Artemis, which aims to send the first woman and first person of color to the Moon as early as 2025.

NASA continues to prepare for a crucial test that will pave the way for the launch of its Artemis 1 moon mission.

Artemis 1 will use a giant Space Launch System (SLS) rocket to send an Orion capsule on an uncrewed trip around the moon. It will be the first-ever flight for the SLS and the second for Orion, which aced an uncrewed trip to Earth orbit in 2014.

Sian Proctor overcame imposter syndrome after being rejected by NASA

Speaking at the Credit Suisse 2022 Asian Investment Conference on Monday, Proctor recalled feeling "devastated" when she got that rejection phone call from NASA.

Proctor said she could hear her inner "imposter syndrome voice saying 'see, you're not good enough, you never should have applied and all of these things. How are you going to make yourself better? Because clearly, you're not as good as you could be'."
