In a post shared to her own Instagram account, the 76-year-old financial expert confessed she wasn't originally cast in the iconic business TV show. Not willing to take no for an answer, Corcoran took matters into her own hands, writing the producers a convincing letter advocating to be cast on the show.
Fans rushed to the comment section, creating a social media group chat in response to Corcoran's bold overture.
One fan shared, "Legend. I did this when I got wait-listed for college, and I had all my favorite teachers sign in support. Offer was extended with increased financial aid. EVERYTHING is negotiable!"
Corcoran has been on Shark Tank since its first season in 2009. She has appeared in all seasons of the show.
