I Felt Uncomfortable Posing Topless For Modelling Shoot Aged 18

Draper, now aged 23, revealed his awkwardness at things he was asked to do during some of his early modelling gigs.

The 6ft 4in British No 1 tennis player , who also played football in Chelsea's youth squad between the ages of 11 and 12, signed with agency IMG Models aged 18.

"I did some stuff I wasn't actually comfortable with at the time," he said, recalling an early shoot where he posed with his shirt off.

"They're great photos, don't get me wrong, but if I was to go back in time I should have been more educated," he told The Sunday Times .

In September, he became the first Briton since Andy Murray in 2012 to reach the semi-finals of the US Open .

He said: "I'm not trying to be the next Andy Murray … he's one of the greatest players there ever was and ever will be, and to put that level of pressure on myself, I just don't do it. I focus on achieving my own potential, whatever that looks like."

As a 16-year-old, Draper won the Wimbledon junior final in 2018, ending that year as world junior No.7.

Draper Jr grew up in Ashtead, Surrey, and trained at the LTA's nearby National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, which his father commissioned.

Draper attended Reed's School, the same Surrey institution as Tim Henman, and has previously practised with the British champion.
