NASA Launching Satellites to Track Extreme Storms From Space
TROPICS is an acronym for "Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitation structure and storm Intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats." The NASA mission aims to place paired CubeSats at different orbital planes in order to boost our understanding and ability to monitor Earth's tropical storms.
