Federal government using artificial intelligence to fight cybercrime

As millions of people transitioned to remote work during the pandemic, criminals took advantage of the increased volume of online activity.

To adapt to these threats, regulators and law enforcement authorities began to turn to artificial intelligence and machine learning to battle bad actors. These tools help officials spot trends and set rules to help banks and other institutions identify and report suspicious transactions.

No One-Size-Fits-All Artificial Intelligence Approach Works For Prevention, Diagnosis Or Treatment ...

"Precision medicine is one of the most trending subjects in basic and medical science today," said Zeeshan Ahmed, an assistant professor of medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School who led the study, published in Briefings in Bioinformatics.

In AI, software programs simulate human intelligence processes. In machine learning, a subcategory of AI, programs are designed to "learn" as they process more and more data, becoming ever more accurate at predicting outcomes.

What Quantum Computing Will Mean for the Future Artificial Intelligence - ReadWrite

Today's artificial intelligence (AI) systems are only as good as the data they're trained on. The AI industry is currently taking advantage of large datasets to train AI models and make them more useful.

Atoms make up our world, and they and their constituents have baffling yet interesting properties. For example, electrons have "spin" and "orbit" that can be either up. In addition, they can be in any of the infinite discrete energy levels. These properties determine the quantum states of atoms.
