RACINE — A Kenosha man has been accused of stealing three Oculus VR headsets and other electronics from a relatively new business on State Street in Racine.

Timothy S. Wysocki, 37, of the 2200 block of 53rd Street, was charged with a felony count of burglary of a building or dwelling, and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal damage to property.

This haptic glove lets you feel the virtual reality metaverse | TechRadar

Haptic gloves have been around for years, allowing you to ‘feel’ objects in virtual reality. But most of these haptic accessories are difficult to set up, need to be wired to your VR system, require additional tech and are eye-wateringly expensive. 

We recently tested the SenseGlove Nova, a pair of haptic gloves   which are different in that they work with standalone headsets (like the Oculus Quest 2 ), don’t require a lengthy set-up process and don’t need wires either.

Virtual Reality Has Gone RotoLoco - WFSU Local Routes

When I think of virtual reality and immersive experiences, I think of Disney World or Universal Studios.  Huge theme parks that are destination locations, and pretty darn expensive, too!

Nick Suttell is the president of New World Rides .  They're headquartered at The Center for Alternate Reality in Tallahassee's Railroad Square Art District .  Nick has designed, patented, and built his company's first virtual reality motion platform and he calls it the RotoLoco.
