Lily Moretti nailed a 3-pointer in the first 30 seconds, and the Rockets scored the first 13 points, holding the Whip-Purs scoreless until a layup with 22 seconds left in the first quarter.
Burlington knocked down 5 of 12 shots in the first eight minutes and stayed hot from there, shooting 50% through the first three quarters en route to a 61-47 win over Hampshire in their Fox Valley Conference game.
“We’ve had some first quarters where we struggle to get going the first three or four minutes,” Rockets coach Collin Kalamatas said. “Once we see that ball drop in once or twice, the girls get a lot of confidence. We got some opportunities to push and score early, which is what we like to do.”

WATCH: Hot Country Knights Gyrate Along to 'Some Girls Do' Cover
The band's high-energy vocal harmonies and faithful interpretation of the 1992 classic are nice, but the real treat of the Knights' performance is watching the bandmates wriggle, hip-thrust and bounce along to the song.
Despite sampling an iconic piece of Sawyer Brown's catalog for their performance, the Knights would like to see more female artists on country radio -- and they have a plan to make it happen. In an interview in the Taste of Country Nights studio , the band described the current state of radio as a "sausage fest."
Love Island's Eve Gale exposes least sexy villa yet as girls left baffled by strange rule -
Eve, who is a twin to Jess, revealed that fellow Islanders weren't having sex in the villa and exposed what really goes on behind-the-scenes.
The 20-year-old club hostess has admitted the girls found it super awkward when show producers told them about the strange "no-w**king rule".
In response to the grim rule, Eve revealed: "Personally I don't think any of the girls did, or none of the girls admitted to it. In fact, we were all talking about how it's so awkward how they said at the beginning you can, but just make sure it's not in front of anyone - because that's like breaching privacy rules."

Carroll girls off to best start in school history | Carroll News
For the first time in school history, Carroll County’s girls’ basketball team is off to a 20-0 start.
The Lady Cavaliers continued to plow roughshod over the Three Rivers District, blitzing Radford 56-31 on Feb. 5 in Hillsville. And while the hot start is great, it doesn’t mean much unless Carroll (20-0, 11-0 Three Rivers District) can finish the season with a win.
“To me no, we don’t talk about it,” Carroll County head coach Marc Motley said when asked if 20 wins has any special significance. “But it’s not something we don’t know. It’s in the paper, people post on Facebook, people talk about it a lot, but I think our kids just come out every single day and work hard. We’re not doing anything any different in practice. We are practicing just as hard right now as we did in the first of December.
