Salley is currently embroiled in some serious drama on Southern Charm , but it turns out she previously appeared on The Bachelor just weeks after calling off her wedding.
That's right, Salley was originally supposed to get married on September 26th, 2021 in Virginia and was seen celebrating her bachelorette one month prior.
Looking at the dates, the time between Salley calling off her wedding and appearing on The Bachelor was about three weeks, with the Southern Charm star later clarifying exactly what went down.
She recalled on Southern Charm: ⁘When I was 22 years old, I got engaged. We had the big house and like, he wanted kids, and I thought that I had everything.
⁘And then, 25 days before the wedding, I got a DM that he had been cheating on me, so I canceled the wedding and moved to Charleston. And that's kind of when single Salley came back full force.”
At the time Salley came under a lot of criticism from viewers of The Bachelor, who felt like she'd only called off her wedding to appear on the show.
⁘And then I went to therapy and got out of that relationship and I feel like I truly am he strongest that I've ever been. I'll read comments today and it makes me giggle.”
