The leaves are turning red and orange, cool breezes beckon and pumpkin spice is in the air. This can only mean one thing: Christian Girl Autumn is back again.
Let's return to the venerated viral photo that started it all in the blissful pre-coronavirus era known as August 2019. The carefully posed Instagram post showcased two white, well-coiffed brunettes adorned in stylish fall fashion complete with appropriately 2019 massive infinity scarves. Actually, make that 2019-gargantuan tartan drapery.

Volleyball: Bishop Ryan getting hot with come from behind wins | KX NEWS
Bishop Ryan’s volleyball team is riding a hot streak as of late. The Lions are 4-1 in their last five games, and a few of those were come from behind wins.
Head Coach Nicholas Theis says he is pushing the girls to have more energy. Theis says the team has been playing with fire and competing every single play of each match.
“Coach Theis can’t be on the floor with us at all times. If one of us makes a mistake and you just stay down then we’re never going to win,” adds Middle Hitter Sydney Upton. “We have to get rid of it right away and move on to the next play so we can keep going and keep winning.”
Girl donates money to help feed families in need -
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A 12-year-old girl helped a family in Charlottesville fulfill their mission of giving hot meals to families in need across Central Virginia.
Destiny Johnson, owner of Des Money Honey Designs, is known for her custom-made shirts, bags, and decals. During a recent order, Johnson said she was inspired to start giving back to her community.
"I've always wanted to help people," said Johnson. "I made some shirts for a teacher one day and I gave her a discount because she got a bulk of shirts. She ended up giving me the full amount of money for those shirts, so I decided I wanted to bless somebody else with that money."

Hot and humid summertime conditions in the mid to upper 80s and possibly a few 90s around with compressional heating ahead of a cold front. The front should move through during the day today while most locations are at their highs of the day which should make this air mass feel very nice, at least at first.
Showers/t-storms activity will accompany the front as well and with ample heating, a few of these could become strong and we can’t rule out a severe T-Storm or two. After today, high temps will struggle to get into the 70s for at least a few days.

Smith-Bynoe's aim now is to write more comedy himself. He co-wrote Enterprice, the BBC Three sitcom about two entrepreneurs and their surely doomed foot scooter-based delivery business. And during lockdown he's been writing a pilot. But he really wants to get inside the Ghosts writers' room. "Just one episode would be good."
Smith-Bynoe wanted to be an actor as soon as he made his stage debut aged four. He was the innkeeper in his primary school's nativity play. "I had one line: 'It's round the back.' So I said it and everybody in the audience laughed. I thought, 'That was good, this applause stuff. I could pay for things with applause.' If I was a bit cleverer I would realise that being on stage doesn't make you any money at all.
As it happened: Golden Girls have their day in the sun
Jo Hill celebrated with a cartwheel as the Australian women guaranteed themselves at least a silver medal with a 64-52 victory over Brazil. The Opals lead from start to finish at The Superdome, with Sandy Brondello having the hot hand early to give the host nation early momentum.
Brazil produced a run of their own but it was never going to be enough. The Opals were simply too classy across the court. Their win now sets up a gold medal match with the undefeated Olympic champion USA.
