On May 30, 2025, our community came together to celebrate the magic of dance at the Farmington Recreation Department's annual spring show: Movie Music Moves. Under the direction of Sue Jones and Jennifer Savage, eighty performers, aged 3 and up, entertained the full house with their artistry, teamwork and the creative energy brought to each dance. "I feel Better when I'm Dancing" and "Shake it Off" were crowd favorites. Smiling fans clapped until their palms turned red. What joy and a welcomed distraction from the chaos and uncertainty presently weighing on all Americans.
Fortunately, the program will continue under the direction of Jennifer Savage, Director of Parks and Recreation. Registration will be held in October 2025. Come check it out. We all feel better when we're dancing.
