The sun is out, suncream is on, and hay-fever pollen is in the air. Surely it can't be long until Love Island is back on our screens?
ITV confirmed in March that Love Island will be returning in summer 2025. What a relief. Maya Jama will be the host again. This will be the regular edition of Love Island, with (mostly) non-famous people heading to the villa in Mallorca. The second season of Love Island: All Stars wrapped in February, and ITV seems to have given up on the traditional winter version of the show for now.
With the exception of the summer 2021 series (which was delayed because of the pandemic), each summer series of Love Island since 2017 has begun on the first Monday in June. So, it seems pretty likely that Love Island will return for 2025 on Monday 2nd June.
According to The Sun , iconic Islanders will watch back infamous moments of the show and spill some behind-the-scenes secrets. Olivia Attwood, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Dani Dyer, Maura Higgins and Zara McDermott are set to appear. What a line-up. I can't wait.
