Tom Bergeron Hosts New Underwater Dancing Competition, Details Here!

When it comes to dancing, Tom Bergeron is 70 but he still knows a thing or two about holding his own on the dancefloor.

The thing is, there's no longer a dancefloor, and the terrain is much different than what he is used to. But does he run from hosting this incredibly physically demanding show? No, he does not.

Bergeron previously announced that he was finally leaving the ⁘Dancing with the Stars' family after 15 years in 2020, but you can say that he's come back in a way.

I know fans who miss his witty remarks and often back-handed sarcastic liners would be jittery with positive energy that he's coming back.

"Each diver will attempt to outperform their competitors, with moves including the Hammerhead Hoedown and Tiger Trot, and redefine dancing with danger,⁘ it continues. ⁘They will have one shot to wow the judges and be crowned the first-ever champion of Dancing With Sharks."

This will be Bergeron's next big gig after he left DWTS because he was constantly butting heads with studio execs. ⁘In all candor, the show that I left was not the show that I loved,⁘ he told the now late Bob Saget in his podcast ⁘Here For You' in 2021. ⁘So at the end of the season, that turned out to be my last season, I kind of knew. I took everything out of my dressing room that I really wanted. ⁘ It was kind of obvious that we were kind of butting heads [behind the scenes]. It wasn't a pleasant [experience]."
