Shark Tank judge Kevin O'Leary has often been criticized for throwing fits over investment seekers and losing his cool during his tenure on the show. But on top of being a polarizing figure among fans of Shark Tank, O'Leary is also notable for dishing out financial advice on a regular in his socials.
A month ago, taking to his IG, the Canadian businessman delivered one more money-saving advice, and while it did rub some in the wrong way, O'Leary wasn't completely wrong with his assessment.
While some were less-than-thrilled by his statements and claimed that the businessman was out of touch, this is far from O'Leary's most controversial advice.
Moreover, given the hike in prices, in the long term, this advice could prove to be very beneficial from a financial point of view.
Apart from advising people against spending on coffee, the Shark Tank judge recently cautioned couples against merging their finances, irrespective of the love and trust they share.
While merging finances does have its perks, as it could simplify splitting financial responsibilities, it also comes with its own sets of risks, as one's debt could take a toll on both of their credit.
