Iranian hackers launch malware attacks on Israel’s tech sector

Security researchers have tracked a new campaign from Imperial Kitten targeting transportation, logistics, and technology firms.

Imperial Kitten is also known as Tortoiseshell, TA456, Crimson Sandstorm, and Yellow Liderc, and for several years it used the online persona Marcella Flores.

Maine says MOVEit hackers accessed the information of 1.3 million people. - The Verge

The state government disclosed the breach in a notice posted to its website, stating that social security numbers, birthdates, and driver's license numbers "may have been involved" in the incident:

It adds that anyone who wants to know whether their data was affected by the breach can contact Maine's dedicated call center.

Maine government says data breach affects 1.3 million people | TechCrunch

The Maine government said it was disclosing the incident and notifying affected individuals as its assessment of the impacted files “was recently completed.”

Maine said that the stolen information may include a person’s name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license and other state or taxpayer identification numbers. Some individuals had medical and health insurance information taken.
