Love Island viewers noticed a small change in the format of the show on Thursday night when the contestants returned from Casa Amor and Maya Jama hosted the recoupling.
Maya Jama is being praised for asking the couples their individual opinions after returning to the main villa from Casa Amor.

Cynthia, who had quite a connection with Casey during Casa Amor but ended up not getting picked, talked about what her mindset was at the time of recoupling.
“I knew I had a 50/50 chance because we’d both [myself and Claudia] had the same amount of time with him [Casey]. I feel as though me and him got along a lot better than him and Claudia and I did believe I was going to get picked,” she said.

Her fellow Love Island alumni were quick to comment. Paige Turley, who won the first ever series of winter Love Island in 2020, commented: "Omg loooove the pink!! You look amaze!" While Abi Rawlings, who appeared on series 7 with Sharon, said: "I’m obsessed with you x."
