California Man Indicted in Cryptocurrency Money Laundering Conspiracy | USAO-EDTX | Department of ...

TYLER, Texas – A San Francisco, CA man has been indicted for federal violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston today.

John Khuu, 27, was named in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury charging him with money laundering conspiracy. Khuu was arraigned in federal court by U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love on Oct. 6, 2022.

Conspiracy theories and poor thinking without facts, oh my!

A conservative article sees a scary Leftist hiding in every closet and under every bed. I'm not used to reading this level of rage. Let's try to understand the argument.

There's little point engaging the [Leftist] cult on the surface, getting tangled in its least important, largely decorative aspects. That is to say, in the rational arguments and factual claims that leftists present.

Conspiracy theories thrive on YouTube, new study - The University of Sydney

The study published in the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review , global leaders on misinformation research, examined YouTube comments on Covid-19 news videos featuring American business magnate and philanthropist Bill Gates and found conspiracy theories dominated.

The results suggest that during the Covid-19 pandemic, YouTube's comments feature, just like anonymous message boards 4chan and 8kun, may have played an underrated role in conspiracy theories growing and circulating.

Amsterdam's Conspiracy of Kindness Kind of Succeeds | Vanity Fair

As Trump-era movies go, Amsterdam is, at least, a surprising one. David O. Russell 's new film, in theaters now, takes its time getting to its point, which is essentially that fascism is best fought with love, camaraderie, and a little cunning.

The film is mostly set in and around New York City in 1933, America drifting between wars while nefarious actors amass power in Europe. But those looming specters only come into the picture later on.

Colorado makes it easier to vote while guarding against conspiracy theorists – Center for Public ...

Colorado has continued to improve access to voting in the past two years, but advocates are urging an end to the state's disenfranchisement of people who've been convicted of felonies.
