WATCH: NASA holds news briefing on upcoming Artemis launch | PBS NewsHour

The agency will try again Saturday to launch its new moon rocket on a test flight, after engine trouble halted the first countdown this week.

Managers said Tuesday they are changing fueling procedures to deal with the issue . A bad sensor also could be to blame for Monday’s scrapped launch, they noted.

Meet NASA's MOXIE, a box that creates oxygen on Mars - The Washington Post

If humans want to explore Mars in the future, they'll need to create oxygen. Now, a small device the size of a toaster is on the planet doing just that.

In a study released this week in the journal Science Advances, researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology showed that the Mars Oxygen In-Situ Resource Utilization Experiment — known as MOXIE — can make oxygen from carbon dioxide, abundant in Mars' atmosphere.

NASA, NOAA Invite Media to Polar Orbiting Weather Satellite Launch

WASHINGTON , Sept. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- NASA is accepting media requests for launch coverage of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Joint Polar Satellite System-2 (JPSS-2) satellite.

NASA and NOAA are targeting Nov. 1 for the JPSS-2 launch on a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 401 rocket from Space Launch Complex-3 at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California .
