Most Iconic Video Game Pacifists

Video games and fighting are no strangers to one another.

Produced by indie developer Greg Lobanov, Wandersong is a game all about a hero saving the world from destruction. However, the goddess who calls upon the prophesied hero calls upon a bard instead.

This doesn’t stop them from embarking on the quest to save the world, however, as they realize the world can be saved by gathering the pieces of a mystical song that will prevent destruction.

The video game "Stray" taps into why we fancy being a cat | Salon.com

Specifically, he was on the cat case. In "Stray," a video game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive, you play as a cat. A slim orange, striped cat who is a stray in a neon-lit, underground city, populated by robots in the wake of a disaster.

These align with the reviews from my home, both from humans and animal: our cat, also an orange tabby, joined the ranks of felines mesmerized by game play.

Biggest Video Game News Of The Week (July 30 - August 5)

Any week that features a Pokemon Presents is going to feel like almost nothing else happened.

It's not often a five-year-old game gets some pretty expansive DLC. Especially when people continue to buy that game so frequently that it refuses to leave the top ten bestsellers.

Better Than a Video Game - Education Next

Recently, in a 9th grade English classroom, I watched a student named Jose stand by his desk while tucking his laptop's screen under his forehead, cupping his left arm under the keyboard, and pecking at the keys with his right hand. I wondered why he was contorting himself just to type.

The teacher told Jose to move his seat and join his classmate Erik so that they could discuss their answers to a question from a quiz they had just taken. Jose walked over to his partner, and put one knee on the empty chair next to him and continued to steer the car in his video game.

The Great Triple-A Video Game Release "Drought" - The Ringer

Granted, there's a significant seasonal trend to these tallies, as shown by this graph of the average number of new releases in the U.S. top 10 and 20 by calendar month.

Even so, the schedule is lighter than usual, thanks in part to reduced publishing presences from Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard, and Electronic Arts and a shortage of first-party titles from Microsoft.

Highest rated Ohio State football players in NCAA video game history

The NCAA video game series has been a pillar in many households since 1998 and for some even before that during the days of “Bill Walsh College Football.” It was downright devastating when EA Sport stopped producing the game after “NCAA ’14.”

The game — or a version thereof — is scheduled to return in time for the 2023 season and I just simply can’t wait. It got me wondering who the ten highest-rated Ohio State football players were in the video game’s history.

Video game companies underperform in quarterly earnings - The Washington Post

The U.S. economy is facing numerous setbacks , with inflation rising to a 40-year-high, consumer spending declining and a labor market slowdown.

Gaming titans Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony all reported declining revenue and missed earnings expectations in the past two weeks. Part of the reason, gaming companies say, is a weakened supply chain, still affected by pandemic-related lockdowns and the challenges of delivering consoles to stores.
