K-pop girl group (G)I-dle to hold concert in Singapore in October | The Straits Times
SINGAPORE - K-pop girl group (G)I-dle will be making a Singapore stop in their first concert tour since their debut in 2018 on Oct 1 at The Star Theatre.
The quintet, comprising Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua, was originally supposed to kick off their first world tour in 2020 but those plans were shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

K-pop girl group StayC knows 'We Need Love' and drops new comeback 'Beautiful Monster'
"StayC girls, it's going down" again as the girl group released their newest single "We Need Love" today alongside the music video for the title track "Beautiful Monster."
The single album comes complete with three other songs: "I Like It," "Love" and a remix of their previously released title track "Run2U" from their February EP "Young-Luv.Com." Every track on the album was composed and written by StayC's High Up Entertainment executives Black Eyed Pilseung.

K-pop big label HYBE, who also manages BTS, announced a new girl group, New Jeans, on July 22. The new girl group was created by Min Hee-Jin, who was previously a creative director and board member at SM Entertainment.
On July 1 this year, multiple teasers were released by ADOR that teased about an upcoming girl group. Well, in a surprise move, ADOR announced New Jeans as their new group. It wasn't just that, they also dropped their surprise debut music video titled Attention.
K-Pop Group Le Sserafim Drops Member Kim Ga-ram After Bullying Allegations
The group's label/management companies, Source Music and Hybe Corporation, confirmed Ga-ram's exit in a statement shared Wednesday, July 20. "Our company has decided to terminate the exclusive contract with Kim Ga-ram," the statement read.
Source and Hybe added that Kim would not be replaced and that Le Sserafim "will continue their activities as a five-member group." The statement concluded: "[A]nd we will spare no effort to support the group to grow further as artists through their music and performance."
