Hacktivists and cybercriminals wreak havoc in Russia - The Washington Post

The broadcasting cache and some of the other notable spoils were obtained by a small hacktivist group formed as the war began looking inevitable, called Network Battalion 65.

In its first in-depth interview, the group told The Washington Post via encrypted chat that it gets no direction or assistance from government officials in Ukraine or elsewhere.

Russian hackers compromise embassy emails to target governments

Security analysts have uncovered a recent phishing campaign from Russian hackers known as APT29 (Cozy Bear or Nobelium) targeting diplomats and government entities.

The APT29 is a  state-sponsored actor  that focuses on cyberespionage and has been active since at least 2014. Its targeting scope is determined by current Russian geopolitical strategic interests.

Overwatch 2 Hackers Already Ruining Games in the Beta

It's been a very long road for Blizzard's upcoming online shooter, Overwatch 2 .
