IHSAA girls golf: 10 players to watch in the SIAC

While everyone worries about the start or potential lack of a season in contact sports, girls' golf has already begun. The first tournaments were held Monday to begin a season that ends at Prairie View Golf Club in October.

North High School will be the heavy favorite in Southern Indiana to win both the sectional and regional. The Huskies, ranked No. 2 in the preseason coaches' poll, lost its top player (Abby Whittington, Xavier) to graduation. But the program returns the rest of its top six for another run at a state title. After finishing second last year, the desire and determination is strong.
